Edie's Story

In loving memory of Edie, born on May 2, 1972, who touched the hearts of everyone she met. Edie worked at Carnegie Mellon University, a place she truly cherished. Little did we know that on that day, God would call her name. In life, we loved her dearly, and in death, we continue to do the same. The loss of Edie broke our hearts, but part of us went with her. Her spirit, kindness, and unwavering love will forever inspire all who knew her.

Edie fought valiantly against breast cancer, and through her dedication, our family proudly supports the Power of Partnerships to aid in breast cancer research. Edie's fight extended her life by ten precious years, and we will forever be grateful for the expertise and care provided by Dr. Puhalla and her team at UPMC Women’s-Magee Hospital.

Although she is deeply missed by her family and loved ones, we take comfort in knowing that God calls us one by one, and we will be together again. Edie’s memory will live on in our hearts forever.
